Registrations are now open for Winning With Weaners workshops at Richmond and Campbell Town.

Looking to lift the lifetime performance of young Merino sheep?

AWI Sheep Connect Tasmania is running a series of Winning With Weaners™ workshops throughout Tasmania in November. These workshops are designed for woolgrowers looking to improve weaner management of their Merino flock, targeting 95% weaner survival to one year of age.

The workshops identify key actions and tools for commercial enterprises, including: key issues affecting weaner survival and performance, factors that contribute to weaner mortality and illthrift, weaner nutrition in terms of both energy and protein, impact of weaning weight and developing weaner growth and weight targets the importance of weaner management on lifetime performance of breeding ewes strategies for success, including management calendar.

The workshops will run from 9:00am to 2:30pm, and are at:
Wattlebanks, 27 Bridge St, Richmond – Tue 21 November
The Grange, 4 Commonwealth Lane, Campbell Town – Wed 22 November
Workshops are delivered by fully-accredited delivers, and are $75 per person, which includes all workshops materials, morning tea, and lunch.

Victoria.
