AWI Extension TAS is overseen by a Producer Advisory Panel. As part of the Panel's succession plan, two vacancies are now available, and AWI is seeking expressions of interest from Tasmanian sheep and wool producers.

AWI Extension TAS is Australia Wool Innovation’s key investment in extension and communication for the Tasmanian sheep and wool industries.

The program’s mission is “to deliver best-practice information and extension, and facilitate ongoing change towards more profitable and sustainable sheep and wool businesses in Tasmania”, and it delivers information via e-newsletters, hardcopy publications, workshops, field days, webinars, and online content.

AWI Extension TAS is overseen by a Producer Advisory Panel. As part of the Panel's succession plan, two (2) vacancies are now available, and AWI is seeking expressions of interest from Tasmanian sheep and wool producers.

Role and responsibilities include providing advice to AWI Extension TAS on the strategic direction of the program, and providing feedback to AWI Extension TAS and Australian Wool Innovation on local and wider industry issues and opportunities.

Expressions of interest close Tuesday 15 October.
