AWI Extension TAS is Australian Wool Innovation’s key investment in extension and communication for the Tasmanian sheep and wool industries, and delivers information via e-newsletters, hardcopy publications, workshops, field days, webinars, and online content.
It is a continuation of the highly-successful AWI Sheep Connect Tasmania program that engaged with more than 4,300 sheep and wool growers during 2009–2024.

AWI Extension TAS has a brand-new website, which provides information about the program, AWI Extension TAS staff and Producer Advisory Panel (PAP), recent e-newsletters, online sheep and wool grower resources, and upcoming events.
The website is mobile-friendly, and is designed to be accessed on-the-go when you need the latest Tasmanian sheep and wool industry information.
